About

Since 1975, I have been privileged to work with thousands of very special people: our authors. They come to us having worked many years on their projects – maybe 2 years, maybe 50 years. They want to leave a legacy for others. They want to publish the history of their family, the history of their community – their school – their church. They want to compile genealogical records to make doing research easier for others. They want to share inspirational material — share their life experience – capture and share someone else’s life — publish some special knowledge they have that can help others.

They are also willing to do something they’ve never done before — to learn what they need to know to publish a book. They take the risk. (Even people in their 90’s!) And they experience the thrill and joy of accomplishing their goal. They are my heroes.

Our job is to make “the publishing part” easy for them.

There are not enough words in the English language to express my gratitude to you for nurturing the publication of my . . . book . . . Thank you, thank you . . . for making this project so easy for me!!!Jim S. (2009)
The success of our book is due in large measure to your and Kate’s patience and willingness to work with me and teach me. I especially appreciated your prompt attention to my questions, whether e-mailed or phoned in. At the outset of this project I was aware that I was taking something of a chance in “trusting” an operation I had only stumbled upon the Internet while “playing” at my computer – when I should have been working. But I went with my instincts, and once again, they proved correct!Jay B. (2004)
